as of September 1, 2022, we have some big and pleasant news at QFS:
The mgm technology partners GmbH (mgm) from Munich, with whom we are very familiar due to a long-standing and intensive customer relationship, is merging with Quality First Software GmbH and taking it over as a fully-owned subsidiary.
The long-standing cooperation was a very good foundation for the trustful discussions and planning around the merger. For us, the time seems to be exactly right to orient the maintenance and further development of QF-Test for the long term and to implement our technology visions together with an internationally and diversely positioned development company that is so close to our own values and convictions.
For you, nothing will change: with Gregor Schmid and Karlheinz Kellerer as managing directors, the same address, the complete team still on board and an unchanged service portfolio, all existing agreements with you will remain unaffected at their familiar conditions.
Founded in 1994, mgm currently has almost 900 employees worldwide. Based on current technologies and its own low-code platform solutions, the technology and consulting company develops enterprise applications primarily, but not exclusively, for the commerce, insurance and public sectors. Together with its specialized subsidiaries mgm consulting partners (management consulting for CIO advisory, organizational development and change management), mgm security partners (web application security) and mgm integration partners (SAP process optimization), mgm covers a wide range of digitalization topics. This portfolio is perfectly complemented by QFS as specialists for test automation and quality assurance.
QFS will continue to develop, support and distribute its GUI testing tool QF-Test, which is established with over 1,400 customers worldwide, with the familiar quality and sustainability. The cross-technology orientation of the product will be further strengthened and at the same time optimized for mgm's own products, especially the model-based low-code enterprise platform A12.
We are looking forward to the new challenges, the new colleagues, the extended opportunities in a larger organization and to the continued reliable cooperation with all of you!
Best regards,
Gregor Schmid, Karlheinz Kellerer and the QFS team
On August 25, 2022, in bright sunshine, the management of mgm came to meet the QFS teams from Leipzig and the Oberland in person at their office in Geretsried/Gelting - Hamarz Mehmanesh and Steffen Weber from mgm even traveled by bicycle!
If you have any questions about the changing ownership at QFS, please do not hesitate to contact us.
