QF-Test 9 est maintenant disponible : Tester l'accessibilité des applications web de manière automatisée

Hello dear QF-Test users!

Making your web content accessible to everyone is no longer optional, but often a must – at least when the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) comes into force in June 2025. Our new version QF-Test 9 can now support you in the automated testing of your websites or web applications for compliance with established accessibility standards.

We also added object-based variables to QF-Test and completely revised our manual, including navigation and local full-text search. Find out more in the highlights below.

Mit herzlichen Grüßen,

Ihr QFS Team

QF-Test Version 9

Highlights in QF-Test 9

With QF-Test 9 you can automatically test your websites and web applications for accessibility and take important steps towards compliance with BFSG, WCAG and other standards. In addition to all test modules of the proven axe-core library, we also offer the testing of graphics for required color contrasts. Each test run is complemented by an interactive report containing accurate screenshots and solution proposals.

Our power users will be thrilled about the new object-based variable concept. QF-Test variables are no longer limited to strings - you can now also store lists, UI components, images and arbitrary data structures.
See also our latest blog about Objects in QF-Test variables.

Our HTML manual has been completely revised for QF-Test 9. With its integrated navigation and lightning-fast full-text search, you always keep an overview - now also in dark mode.

The UI inspector, our powerful tool for understanding QF-Test's live view of your application, now has search and filter function so you won't get lost even in deeply nested hierarchies.

There are many more features to discover in QF-Test 9 such as an "@option"-Doctag. All details can be found in the Release Notes. Please also take a look at the notes on possibly incompatible changes.
